The buddy program is a program that allows secondary students to assist with the kindergarten classes. It is a great opportunity for students to receive needed hours for CAS and help younger students in their classroom activities. This occurs once a week during secondary lunch break (12:15-12:45). You are able to decide what day of the week you are available to attend during lunch. The students may engage in the activities that the kindergarteners are doing and assist in the classroom wherever help is needed. “The buddy program is so much fun if you love interacting with young ones and helping out in a classroom environment” -Eje Idemudia. Some activities could include: letter sounds, crafting, games, reading to kids, math games, etc. The advisors of the program are Seyon Lee & Ms. Kelly Jamieson. This program begins after winter break. To sign-up you can find the email and complete the google forms.
