Movie Night
Movie night and Garage Sale.

A movie night occurred on Thursday, December 5, 2019. In Gems American Academy Abu Dhabi, it was a great night with all the kids watching the movie with their parents and friends. The garage sale had so many things for everyone, there was popcorn, drinks, doughnuts, and more!
The weather was amazing, everyone had blankets sitting on the grass enjoying their popcorn and movie. The movie started around 5:30 – 6, yet the garage sale started at 5 while people came early with excitement and joy. Kids were buying toys from the booths and some adults bought clothes that were for sale.
Of course, there were a lot of students who volunteered for this night and teachers too. They helped with the garage sale and organized the event. I interviewed one of the students who volunteered for selling popcorn and asked ‘’how do you feel about this event and what is your favourite part?’’, she answered with ‘’I think that this movie night is really nice and I’m glad I volunteered tonight, my favourite part was seeing everyone having fun and families enjoying their time.’’
