On Tuesday 21st January, 2020 Elementary had their talent show called “Risk Takers”. The talent show was made up of 11 performances. Students in the talent show showed off their talents in singing, dancing, comedy, and magic. The entire talent show was organized by fifth graders. Some of the songs that were performed were “The Climb” -By Miley Cyrus, ‘White Winter Hymnal” -By Pentatonix and “Dance Monkey” -By Tones and I.  Two students rapped about global warming and another student played the violin. Overall the talent show was very well organized and fun to watch. This year all Elementary students had the opportunity to participate in the first ever Elementary talent show which will hopefully keep happening in the future. I personally was very impressed by how well the fifth graders organized everything by themselves, it shows a lot of maturity and determination for their age, these fifth graders showed that they are ready to take a big step in their life and move up to middle school. Along with everyone else I thought that all Elementary students were really brave to get up on stage and share their talents with the audience. I interviewed a highschooler; Renata Bonesana in grade 10 who was also watching the Elementary talent show. Renata said “I was very impressed by the fifth graders on how they were able to organize the talent show with all the elementary grades involved in it. I was very impressed by a student who was singing “The Climb”, It was shocking to me how such a little girl could have such a huge talent, and I definitely look forward to seeing what the students come up with next year.”Ta
