Last Friday 22nd September, GAA came together to celebrate the Saudi National Day, where students, teachers and staff proudly wore green attire to display unity and patriotism. The heartwarming phrase echoed through the campus “An Emirati is a Saudi, and a Saudi is an Emirati” .
This phrase portrays the sense of brotherhood and solidarity between both the Emirati and Saudi communities in the school and outside of it. At GAA, students from all backgrounds gathered to participate in the celebrations as they took place on the school grounds. The Saudi National Day is not just any national day to celebrate but it was a reaffirmation of the close relationship that ties Emiratis and Saudis together, so the sea of green and repetition of this phrase served as a testament to the deep friendship and unity among these communities.
