Dress-down day on April 28th here at GAA revolves around  the theme ‘Arbor Day’.  Specifically for us as Wildcats, all proceeds from this dress-down day will be used by GAAPA (Gems American Academy Parents Association) to go towards trees to be planted around the school.

Arbor day is observed on the last Friday in April, only a week after Earth Day, with the aim of encouraging individuals all around the world to plant trees and clean up their communities.

Students were encouraged to wear anything green, from viper house shirts, to hair accessories such as green ribbons.

Stay green this Friday!
