Samsung VS Apple

Thiago Bauni, Writer

Apple: A worldwide company that makes consumer gadgets, personal computers, servers, and computer software as well as digitally distributing media content is known as Apple Inc., formerly known as Apple Computer, Inc. Apple Stores are a chain of retail establishments owned by the firm. The iPhone smartphone, iPad tablet, and Macintosh range of computers are Apple’s three main product categories. On April 1, 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer Co.

Samsung: Lee Byung-Chull established Samsung on March 1st, 1938, as a grocery trade store. Initially, he traded noodles and other products made in and around Taegu, Korea, sending them to China and its regions. In 1969, Samsung made its debut in the electronics sector with a number of subsidiaries dedicated to the sector. Televisions in black and white were their first offerings. The business has dominated the global television manufacturing market since 2006. The Galaxy series began to include tablet computers in 2010 with the launch of the Galaxy Tab, and smartwatches in 2013 with the launch of the Galaxy Gear.

If we are comparing the two largest phone companies in the world that cover 75% of all smartphone sales, we should talk about their latest models. For Apple, the latest model is the iPhone 14 and for Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy S22.

The first thing to compare is the display. Both have large OLED screens with 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate. The Apple phone is 160.7 x 77.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 254 grams and the Samsung one is 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 228 to 229 grams. One main difference on the iPhone is that it has Face ID instead of the Galaxy S22 which uses a fingerprint scanner and a good point for Apple is Dynamic Island on the iPhone which is unique instead of Samsung which has the S Pen. The iPhone 14 has three similar main cameras, but the Galaxy has a unique 10X zoom lens. Finally, the battery. The Galaxy has a faster charge, but the iPhone battery lasts longer. (The prices for the iPhone 14 and the Samsung Galaxy S22 are both about $799)
